Lynne Naylor’s Pinups Exhibition

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Libra by Lynne Naylor

“Pinups” finds Lynne returning to classic form as one of our generation’s most gifted pinup artists with her playfully sensuous and alluringly painted females. Six new vibrantly colorful pieces depict Lynne’s trademark hipster vixens—each named with a zodiac symbol— lounging amidst an abstractly mod world, and make an irresistible addition to any mid-century modern setting.

Mid-Century Modern at Outre

Friday, July 27th, 2007

Welcome to Your New Lifestyle by Shag
Outre Gallery in Australia presents the Mid-Century Modern International Group Exhibition.

Harking back to the crisp style, space-age visions and optimism of the 1950’s and 1960’s, some of Outré Gallery’s favourite contemporary artists re-interpret Modernism.

Shag (USA), Tim Biskup (USA), Keith Weesner (USA), Jeff Raglus (Australia), Derek Yaniger (USA), Lynne Naylor (USA) and Andrew Brandou (USA) have all worked through out their careers with modernism as an over-riding influence. This exhibition highlights the way in which Western mid-century modernism continues to be an enduring influence in pop culture today.

Expect atomic architecture, fifties babes and retro design all in the signature styles of these highly regarded international artists. Keep an eye on this page …

To get on the waiting list for originals you will need to register your interest.
